The Goulburn War Memorial, situated at the top of Rocky Hill, was funded by public subscription and opened in 1925. It commemorates the residents of Goulburn who served in World War I. At night a rotating-beam searchlight operates from the rooftop. The tower's design is reminiscent of the pylons of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which was under construction at about the same time.

T&G Building, Newcastle. This is not actually an Art Deco building, but it does constitute the model for T&G offices in other parts of the country that were built in the Deco style. The step pyramid-topped corner tower is a common design element in all of those. Pictures of the T&G buildings in Hobart and Warnambool can be seen in the relevant sections of this site.
